thank you Liz, I am an admirer of Rick to the point of worship. The music of Pink Floyd & solos of Rick are my staple diet. His unassuming style & modesty made him a defacto leader of the band. But most of all the taming of the keyboard set him apart from all the rest

Rick was one of a kind which made Pink Floyd music a genre by itself. How I wish he was still around continuing to make music for the heavens.

Arrg! Correction: technical difficulties, not technicalities. This is why things shouldn't be posted when eyelids are drooping halfway over one's eyes.

Our apologies to our current members, newcomers, and to those who are awaiting approval for registration. We have been experiencing some technicalities with our site for some time now and are trying to work things out. Unfortunately, we have tried to post a nice little tribute for Richard for his 68th birthday, but we are experiencing difficulties even with that. So, again, our apologies, but he is certainly not forgotten and we continue to pay tribute through his music and through our memories of him. Happy 68th Birthday, Richard! You're still, and always, in our hearts! Liz and Sarah

As dedicated fans, we would like to promote Richard's enchanting solo album, Broken China. Unfortunately we can't sell his album directly from our site, but we'd like to provide a link to Amazon at the very least:
Gdansk, Poland was the last show on David Gilmour's 2006 On an Island tour and was the only concert on which David performed the tour material with an orchestra, using the 40-strong string section of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Zbigniew Preisner, who was responsible for the On an Island album's orchestral arrangements. Please click the album cover above to view videos featuring songs from the DVD. Live in Gdansk comes in many different sets fitting everyone's budget and can be purchased by clicking on the links below: 2CD: 3CD/2DVD: Other available formats are: 2CD/1DVD; 2CD/2DVD; and 5 Vinyl Boxset Live In Gdańsk is now available in Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil, Israel, Japan, Mexico, and Uruguay
